How It's Made
Every bag in our brown leather range is handcrafted in India by artisans working in SA8000-certified facilities — independently audited for fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical management practices. ISO 14001 environmental certification means the facility is held to strict standards for waste, energy use, and emissions. Small batches. Considered production. No shortcuts.

WHY BROWN LEATHER OUTLASTS EVERY OTHER COLOUR
Brown leather bags have been around for centuries for a reason — they age better than any other colour. The natural variation of the hide shows through the chocolate tone in a way that black doesn't allow. Marks and minor wear add to the richness rather than detracting from it.
Our brown leather is sourced from LWG Gold-rated tanneries and tanned using SFERE technology — a process that significantly reduces water and chemical use compared to conventional tanning. Finished with REACH-certified dyes, and 100% traceable to origin. Built to last decades, not seasons.

About Our Leather
Full-Grain Australian Cowhide
Brown leather at its best starts with the right hide. Ours is full-grain Australian cowhide — sourced as a by-product of the meat industry, tanned to retain the natural surface of the hide. No sanding, no buffing, no pigment coating to hide imperfections. Just leather with genuine character.
Deep Chocolate Tones
Our brown leather is aniline dyed to achieve a rich chocolate depth that's consistent through the hide, not just on the surface. In different lights it reads warm and earthy — in direct sun it reveals the natural variation of the grain beneath. That's what real leather looks like.
Softens With Wear
Unlike synthetic materials that degrade with use, full-grain leather improves. Our brown hides are naturally milled before cutting to open up the fibres and develop initial softness. From there, the leather continues to break in with every carry — becoming more supple, more personal, more yours.
