Our Leather
Why LEather?
Leather is more sustainable than it’s often understood to be.
Wolff Studios works with Australian leather, a natural by-product of the meat industry. This supports a circular, low-waste model that makes use of what would otherwise be discarded.
We choose Australian full-grain leather for its durability, beauty, and lower impact on the planet. With the right care, it doesn’t wear out — it wears in. It softens, strengthens, and develops character over time. Unlike synthetic alternatives, it won’t crack with age or shed microplastics into the environment.
While many materials are designed for short cycles, high-quality leather pieces are created to be worn, repaired, and re-loved — season after season.

Bags that are made to last, made to empower, and made for women on the move.
About Our Leather
Crafted from premium, ethically sourced, Australian leather, each Wolff Studios piece is thoughtfully designed in Australia and expertly handcrafted in India by skilled artisans. Our leather is selected for its durability and quality, ensuring a product that supports conscious living, without compromising on elegance or functionality.
We choose full-grain leather, the highest grade available.
Its surface is left untouched, preserving the hide’s natural grain and character. Over time, it softens and deepens, developing a rich patina unique to its wearer.
Full-grain is the most durable form of leather on the market, made to endure and age with ease.
Its natural finish allows the material to breathe — helping to regulate temperature and reduce moisture over time.
Our hides are 100% traceable to origin, sourced from Australia, known for its strict animal welfare standards and environmental regulations.
We use an aniline finish, a refined dyeing process that colours the leather without covering its surface in pigment. .
The grain remains visible, allowing the natural texture and character of the hide to show — from subtle grain patterns to natural variations.
With time and proper care, it develops a deep, nuanced patina – a poetic testament to its journey and craftsmanship.
While more delicate than coated leathers, it offers a natural, luxurious feel and showcases the honesty of the material. It’s a conscious choice that reflects our commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship, and materials made to last.
Milling, a gentle tumbling process, softens the leather and enhances its natural character, revealing the depth and richness of the grain.
Our texture is naturally milled, preserving the authentic grain you see.
Because we don’t emboss or artificially correct the leather, what you see is real. Each piece is unique, shaped by nature, time, and the artisan’s hand. The result is a soft yet structured texture that reflects the balance between rugged durability and refined design.
